My name is Chris Keith, and I’m a native Arizonan who believes in the power of good pictures. Schooled in fine art, the humanities and photojournalism, I use my skills, intellectual curiosity and passion to draw attention to the beauty of our natural world and common humanity.

My career as a photographer began with taking pictures of people, travel and adventures. Then Arizona Highways magazine entrusted me with an entire issue to shoot on my hometown—Prescott, Ariz. Add to that 20 years as a staff photojournalist for the Arizona Republic newspaper, the experience of leading landscape photography workshops and teaching photojournalism, and an inspiring faculty fellowship at the National Geographic magazine, and you get a snapshot of my background. I have a passion for photojournalism and care most about stories that can make a difference in areas of social justice and environmental awareness and stewardship.

I am currently available for editorial, documentary projects, natural history, travel and environmental portraits. I also retain a library of selected images for sale as stock and fine art prints.
